Getting about the site
Using Kitpartsdirect is easy and straightforward - the site is divided up into categories; these categories can be selected by clicking one of the main categories along the left hand side of the page.
At any time you can return to a catergory simply by clicking its category no matter where about you are in the site.
On each category page there are main category sub links directly underneath the category tabs. Clicking one of these will take you to the category links, simply choose a category and browse the products.
In all product listings we have added some filtering tools which can found at the top of the list.
You can select how many products you wish to display in a list (please note if you select 100 or 200 products it may take slightly longer to load).
You can sort the products by price either high to low or low to high.
You can filter by brand, by selecting a brand only that brand will show. Simply select “All Brands” to display the full list again.
A very useful feature is sort by keyword, if the product list you are looking at is very long you can use additional keywords in this box to filter the results.
By using a combination of filtering tools you should be able to quickly find the product you are looking for.
Using The Search Box
The search box can be used simply by typing in a keyword or phrase.
Again the results page features the filtering tools as mentioned earlier.
If you wish to search our spare parts database click the spare parts search button before typing your search term.
Adding To Basket
Once you have selected your chosen item simply click the add to basket button next to the product.
You will see your selection in your onscreen basket.
The basket will show you your current selections plus the carriage charge applicable for the value of spend.
When you have finished browsing simply click the checkout button and complete your order.
Clear information is available throughout the procedure and your order is not confirmed until the very last step.
We accept Visa MasterCard Maestro Solo cards for online transactions, Paypal, cheque via post(Goods will be desptached once the payment has cleared), BACS transfer and cash on collection.
All prices quoted are calculated including VAT at the current rate. To the best of our knowledge all prices are correct at the time of issue. We aim to ensure our pricing is accurate and up to date but we do reserve the right to change prices without notice.
Returning an item to Kit Parts Direct is a simple process. Simply log into Your Account & find the appropriate Order No: that contains the item/items you wish to return. From here you can send us an RMA (Return Material Authorisation) Request to return any incorrectly supplied/faulty or damaged items. If there is no Returns Merchandise Authorisation number ("RMA") on the outside of the package that is being returned then this will lead to delays in processing your return. To avoid this delay, you must first obtain an RMA number by selecting ‘Returns’ from the 'Your Account - Previous Orders' menu and follow the simple instructions.

Whilst we make every effort to offer an efficient service occasionally mistakes are made, we will endeavour to resolve the complaint within five working days. Your complaint will be treated fairly, confidentially and with respect.

When you receive your item you must check the packaging and contents, if at all damaged you must mark this on the delivery note ('DAMAGED') when signing. If you are unable to check the item please make sure you write (unchecked) when signing.
If your item is damaged during transit and the above is not complied with, we will not accept any liability and will have no claim against the carrier.
All damage to items must then be reported to us by email, letter or telephone as soon as possible.
Customers are advised that heavy items will require the recipient to make the necessary arrangements to take delivery of the goods, the carrier will only deliver to the address instructed.
For security reasons we cannot leave a delivery without a signature.
